Stylists & Colourists

Apprentices
We are now hiring enthusiastic, creative, dedicated and hardworking people to start their hairdressing apprenticeship and join our company. Prospective students should be 16 years of age and have the desire to be the best of the best in hairdressing.

Work experience
Work Experience is offered to those who are genuinely interested in working in an upmarket and busy salon, helping us to deliver a high level of customer care, which we pride ourselves in. Theory for Hair is a great way to get a taste for hairdressing if you are thinking about making it a career choice.
During work experience you will need to plan this time with your school. It’s normally 1 day per week for a fixed term e.g. 3 months, and we require that you work on Saturday during this experience. We also invite you at no charge to you to attend classes in training on Wednesday nights with the rest of the team, this will include education within the salon in all working aspects of client consultations, including washing hair, scalp massage, assisting stylists and colour technicians plus helping to maintain a high quality of salon aesthetics.
You will be offered a full insight into all professional elements of a busy salon and introduced to the industry which you can achieve a letter of reference with Theory for Hair that may assist you in entering full time employment.
